Dr Stefan Szwed jest stypendystą programu Marii Skłodowskiej-Curie w Instytucie Harrimana na Uniwersytecie Columbia w Nowym Jorku oraz na Uniwersytecie Ca’ Foscari w Wenecji. Jest autorem książki „The Awkward Middle Power: Poland’s Foreign Policy after 1989” opublikowanej niedawno w The Oxford Handbook of Polish Politics, a także książki „Poland, Germany and State Power in Post–Cold War Europe: Asymmetry Matters”.
