Shlomo Avineri

Urodzony w Bielsku-Białej, profesor nauk politycznych na Uniwersytecie Hebrajskim w Jerozolimie. Jego książki tłumaczone były na wiele języków. Należą do nich "The Social and Political Thought of Karl Marx", "Hegel’s Theory of the Modern State" i "The Making of Modern Zionism". Laureat Nagrody Izraela, najwyższego cywilnego odznaczenia tego kraju.
